Simply the best coffee in Pskov, the friendlist staff, and the coziest ambience. A couple of coffee enthusiasts managed to create a truly modern and upbeat place that Pskov lacked. They payed great attention to suppliers, so you can be sure that whatever you buy there with your coffee is going to be delicious. For example, the gingerbread in a shape of a fish, cat, or a goat come from Izborsk, and made according to the tradiotional Russian recepies. Oh, and the these guys know how to make excellent coffee, whether you like hario, aeropress, flat white or espresso - they have it all! They also make hearty breakfasts, and have tasty smørrebrøds for a snack. Besides, it's just a supercozy place with couches, TV, books and board games.

Dvor Pozdnoeva is a whole block of medieval buildings (known as palaty) which house a hotel, a SPA, and several cafés, each with its own specialty. The place is often packed with locals who come here during the lunch break, or to celebrate birthdays and weddings. There's self-service Pirogovye Palaty (Пироговые Палаты) or 'pie chambers' with a good variety of Russian savoury and sweet pies, as well as salads and desserts. Above it, there's Kofeinye Palaty (Кофейные Палаты) or 'coffee chambers' which mainly serves coffee, tea, and desserts bus also has main courses on the menu. Pivnye Palaty (Пивные Палаты) serve traditional Russian food, and has a good variety of beer and homemade kvass. Vinnye Palaty is mainly for wine and snacks. And, finally, the most upbeat is Trapeznye Palaty (Трапезные Палаты) serving dishes from medieval Russian cookbooks and less exotic European food in the 17th-century Russian interiors.

About
A quirky bar with original 18th-century interiors and frescos on the walls is a part of Old Estate Hotel. There's a dining room or trapeznaya serving traditional Russian food but nothing too exotic, and a bar with a variety of vodkas and nastoikas (Russian drink made by infusing herbs, fruits or berries into vodka). After a couple of such drinks, you may think that you're sitting in some sort of a church or a monastery, the low arched ceiling with frescoes and dim lights definitely help to produce this effect.
