There's only one hotel in the centre of Zvenigorod. The rest of them (mostly spa resorts) are located in the suburbs, or in the villages nearby.
TATIANA PROVENCE HOTEL

Tatiana Provence is practically the only hotel located in the very centre of Zvenigorod. It's rather small and cozy boutique hotel, very unusual for Russia, with excellent design of the rooms, large swimming pool, SPA, saunas and a fitness centre. There's also a nice restaurant on site so you don't need to go far to have a hearty lunch or dinner. The hotel is quite new, and there's still a lot to be done but it's already become the best hotel out of all that Zvenigorod has to offer.
The hotel restaurant 'L'Atelier' serves Russian and French food. It is certainly the fancient restaurant in town with dress code (smart casual) and live piano music on Saturday evenings. If you want to try Russian dishes, we recommend Russian cabbage soup with beef, goose cooked in apples, and homemade dumplings (pelmeni). On the French side, try their delicious chestnut soup with scallops and duck with baked carrot and pear in wine. They also have good breakfasts served from 7.30am until 10.00 on working days, and from 8am until 11am in the weekends at the restaurant 'L'Atelier' on the 1st floor. There's a large buffet, and they also offer fried eggs, omelettes and delicious porridge baked in a tradional Russian oven.

Rooms: the rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the hotel, most of them have slanted ceilings. The standard singles and doubles aren't big in size, but quite cozy, and have nice bathrooms. Most of other categories of rooms are just a bit bigger (apart from suites and apartments).

About
Despite its name, the hotel offers accommodation to people of all faiths and none. They occasionally get grumpy when unmarried couples check in, but don't be afraid, they won't turn you down. They have both dorms and private rooms. The suites on the top floor are particularly nice and far from ascetic. Although you do get an icon instead of a TV in your room. As Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery is practically the main attraction of Zvenigorod with its 3 museums, ancient cathedral and a priory, staying there a night might be a good idea.
The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but you can have it at the café near the monastery entrance. Note that the check-in and the check-out times are different from usual. The check-in is at 5pm, and the check-out is at 3pm.

Rooms: shared 4- and 6-bed dorms for male and female guests, private single (with shared bathroom) and twin rooms, and also suites for 2 people. Dorms, single and double rooms are pretty basic but very clean. Suites are way bigger and much more cozy with large sofas, cupboards, a fridge, and a kettle with teacups.
