About
This old-world hotel is located on an ancient Greek Street, where Greek merchants used to settle in the 18th-19th centuries. The hotel is located in the old centre of Taganrog, 5min walk from the sea, and in a walking distance to all the sights. The building which houses the hotel is an object of cultural heritage, built in 1840s by one of those Greek merchants. The house was eventually sold to the family of Komnino-Varvaci hence the name of the hotel. The gem of this hotel is its garden with a gazebo, a fountain, and a rosary. And there're stunning views over the Taganrog Bay surrounded by rows of cypresses. Varvaci boutique hotel is very much like Taganrog itself: very old-fashioned, charming, and very much out of this world.
